A few things to know
Download Findcub 0.1.2 for an Apple Silicon Mac and follow the installation guide to get started.
Findcub is designed for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later.
Choose your sources and complete the initial setup with internet. Findcub prepares the selected content on your Mac before content search is ready. The time depends on the amount and type of content; you can follow progress in the app.
Choose folders or content from Google Drive, Outlook, Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Notion. Access depends on your account permissions. OneDrive and Dropbox join through folders already downloaded to your Mac.
Once initial setup and content preparation are complete, local content is searchable offline. Connecting cloud accounts and syncing new or changed cloud content need internet.
Findcub checks for changes in selected sources; pause or resume them in the app. Cloud updates need internet. Removing a source removes its search content from your library and leaves the original files or cloud content intact.
Content processing and search happen on your Mac. Search content and queries are not sent to Findcub’s servers. Cloud account authorization and normal service access records have separate handling, explained in Privacy.
Keep the thought. Find the file.
